Brief Introduction to the French Design Award (FDA):

The French Design Award (FDA) is an international design accolade organized by the International Awards Associates (IAA). It holds significant influence in the creative industry. The jury panel comprises renowned design experts and professors from around the world, ensuring the authority and impartiality of the evaluation. Notably, it includes two jury members from the German Red Dot Award.

The year 2026 marks the 61st anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France. Following the immense global exposure from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, France remains in the spotlight. The French Design Award is currently the only international award that has been featured in a report by China Central Television (CCTV). It is also one of the few awards—alongside the global "Big Three" (Red Dot, iF, and G-Mark)—that requires winners to pay a winner's rights fee. Its laureates include designers and companies from numerous countries, such as Huawei, Baidu, Anta, Mercury Home Textile​ from China, and Mercedes-Benz​ from Germany.
